Paper Abstract:      Ambient Intelligence is a concept envisioning information society in the future. In the ambient world of the near future, interconnected intelligent devices will surround us, at home, work, or while travelling. These devices and their local networks will also be connected to the outside world through broadband and/or wireless networks. Since the Faculty of Informatics and Management at the University of Hradec Kralove is educating future managers with a strong technological background, its students should be able to define requirements for the structure and behaviour of Ambient intelligence from the point of view of final users. The problem is that AmI is a system with high level of complexity and many related aspects. Therefore, students are taught to systems thinking and object modelling to be able to comprehend such a complexity. Educational process in both subjects corresponds to Senge’s concept of learning organization and is supported by WebCT environment. This paper briefly describes related problems and outlines initial results.
